I've now had your NUVO system in my house for 4 months. The same day I had the NUVO system installed, I had a new hot water tank installed, a new set of delta faucets installed in the sink in our ensuite, as well as completed a newly renovated shower installation in our ensuite along with new faucets and diverter. The NUVO started working that same day. I am prepared to recommend this product to our existing and new homeowners as an adjunct to any other system(s) they may have in place. If they currently do not have any systems, this should be a MUST as a first step to improving their home water supply.

I was very skeptical at first before I bought this. (I spent about a month e-mailing the sales guy before I bought) So I eventually bought it. I always noticed a red ring around my toilet that would develop after approximately 5 days after cleaning. After I installed it the red ring never came back. I live on the coast of James Island, SC. I've been on a shallow well (for all our household needs) for 28 years and knew I had a high calcium content (per our local DHEC dept), but it didn't seem to be a problem.

About a year ago I started to notice a slight white buildup on the inside of our dishwasher, but let it ride. About 6 months ago we had to begin to occasionally wash all our dishes and silverware w/ vinegar. I finally broke down and bought an inexpensive hardness test kit and was shocked. I decided I needed to look into some manner of water softening.

I hunted around (not wanting a salt system due to heart issues) locally and then on the Net and discovered nuvoH2O. Found this site (and others) and, although I was skeptical (hadn't ever heard of chelation - only the standard salt softening method), so I looked up chelation. The description made sense i.e., bind up the calcium such that it was water soluble and could not complex out of solution.

So I called nuvo and I talked with a rep (who was VERY patient) and ended up buying the Home System.

Well, let me tell you, I have been blown away.

I installed the system late last Friday. Just that quick the nuvo system was working. The water characteristics were just as dramatic.

Showering is better - actually getting some decent suds. Hand washing as well. The water "feels" softer (subjective, I know, but that's how it feels). And the most recent dusting inside the dishwasher is starting to disappear. And we're finally seeing a similar effect from the hot water side now that the "old" water in the tank is finally flushed through.

For my money and with the results I've seen thus far, this nuvo system is incredible. How long the cartridge lasts remains to be seen but I'll cross that bridge later. For now, I couldn't be more pleased.

This is the only water softener that you will ever need! Texas has the hardest water in the country; and almost impossible to be without a water softener. I have replaced the water heater every 3 to 4 yrs; and my plumber showed me how the accumulation was almost a solid mass; and burning out the bottom elements. The toilets needed to be replaced because the holes that flush the toilets would clog up and stop working. I tried a tank less water heater but that stopped working with the buildup in the small tubes.

Over the years I tried a conventional water softener; the magnets that you put around the pipes, the new electric type that you wrap a wire around the pipe and plug into the electric deice, but none of them worked.

When I saw the advertising for the Nuvo H2O I was extremely skeptical, but the warranty convinced me that I could return it and get a full refund and loose nothing if it did not work. I called the company and talked to the technical people and asked all the questions and concerns I have. They were very knowledgeable and understanding. I ordered the unit and installed it on a weekend. Within 3 weeks I saw a significant difference in the water. The water in the shower had more force and I used less soap. It felt great on my skin; and my wife also, (who though that I had fallen for another TV product that was a waste of money), commented on how it felt, and how much less soap she was using on the laundry. The water tasted better and all of the scale on the dishes and dishwasher was disappearing. I no longer need to take the aerators apart every few months and clean the screens. After installing the unit almost a year ago I have not had to clean them and the water flows freely.

I have been using the unit for almost 1 year and it seems to get better and better as time goes on.

We bought this product with the intention that with the money back offer we would be in the same place if it didn't work. WOW!!

Were we wrong about it not working. We read all the different reviews and agree that the review timelines seemed a "little suspect." We couldn't be happier that we were proven wrong. The unit came in 4 days from the time the order was placed and was easy to install. As far as the claims that it helps clear residual build-up in shower heads and faucet heads, well again we were amazed. The shower head in our bath has always had a few "sprayers" that dribbled water. The shower is spraying out of all "sprayers" and giving us the best shower our tankless water heater ever gave us!!!! The biggest thing we have noticed is that the water feels better on our skin, hair, clothes, and dishes are coming cleaner. I am a contractor and I prefer to use new products (tankless water heaters, dual flow toilets, etc.) on my own home before I recommend any "new technology" to anyone. I can say in my opinion this product works and works well!!! The company has great customer service and I was very pleased with the purchase. Hope this helps anyone looking for a solution to hard water issues.
